Every person in your June workspace has a role that determines what they can see and do. Owners manage members from Settings > Members.

Roles

  • Owner: One per organization (the person who created it). Can do everything an admin can, plus manage members: invite people, change roles, and remove members. To transfer ownership, contact June support (support@juneops.com).
  • Admin: Manages the workspace: settings, integrations, assets, software, contracts, automations, runbooks, and other configuration.
  • Member: Works in June without changing org-level configuration: browses assets, software, employees, automations and their results, chats with June, adds notes, previews and downloads documents, and exports data. Members see their own profile under Settings but not the rest of the settings area.
  • June AI (Bot): The built-in June agent that appears in the members list. It is not a person and cannot be edited or removed.

Invite a member

Only the owner can invite people, from Settings > Members.
  • Click “Invite Member”, enter an email, and choose a role (Member is the default, Admin is also available)
  • The invitee receives an email and joins with that role when they accept
  • Invitations expire after a week

Pending invitations

  • Resend the invitation email or cancel it from the row menu
  • To change a pending invite’s role, cancel it and re-invite with the right role

Change a member’s role

  • Active members have an inline role selector on their row: switch between Member and Admin
  • The owner’s own role can’t be changed

Remove a member

  • Open the row menu, choose remove, and confirm

SSO and roles

  • People who join through SSO (for example, Okta) join automatically as Members
  • An owner can promote them to Admin afterwards

See your own role

  • Everyone can see their own role on their Personal Information page (Settings > Personal Information)
