Connect your ChatGPT Enterprise workspace to see who holds a seat, who is actually using ChatGPT and Codex, what each person consumes, and the spend limits you have configured. This covers your ChatGPT workspace (seats, pooled credits, Codex). It does not cover your OpenAI API bill, which is billed separately. For that, see OpenAI Platform.

What you’ll accomplish

  • Connect with a single workspace Admin API key
  • See every ChatGPT seat, including people who have access but no usage
  • Track per-person Codex activity: sessions, conversation depth, and how much of their shipped code Codex contributed
  • See which surface each person works in (the Codex CLI, their IDE, the web, or cloud tasks)
  • Track per-person spend limits and how much of their monthly allowance each person has used, and update a limit from June
  • See per-person spend split by product, ChatGPT and Codex separately, in credits and dollars

What June syncs

From your ChatGPT Enterprise workspace, June syncs:
  • Your member roster, so June can show every seat, including people with no usage
  • Per-person Codex usage: how often each person uses Codex, how deeply, and the code contribution behind it (lines written and committed, commits Codex contributed to)
  • Per-person spend limits, including who has an explicit override and who is uncapped, next to what they’ve consumed this month
  • Per-person spend by product: what each person consumed on ChatGPT and on Codex, in credits, with an estimated dollar figure
Usage history is available from January 2026 onward and refreshes daily.
ChatGPT Enterprise uses one Admin API key plus two identifiers you copy from the Admin Console: your Workspace ID and your API Platform Organization ID. ChatGPT enforces spend limits in credits, so June shows them in credits. June never converts a credit limit into a dollar figure.

Capabilities

June ingests seat, usage, and limit data. The only action it can take in ChatGPT is updating a spend limit when an admin approves it in June.

Prerequisites

Before starting, ensure you have:
  • A ChatGPT Enterprise workspace
  • Workspace Owner access to create an Admin API key

What each permission is for

The Admin key needs four grants. If a key is missing one, the connection fails at setup and names the missing grant.
The cost logs grant reads billing rows only: who consumed what, in credits and dollars. It never includes conversation content, files, or memories. June never asks for the permissions that do.

Connect ChatGPT Enterprise

1

Generate a workspace Admin API key

  1. Sign in to the OpenAI Admin Console as a Workspace Owner.
  2. Go to Credentials → Admin keys and create a new key.
  3. Under Custom permissions, grant read access to workspace users, Codex Enterprise analytics, and cost logs, and read and write on usage limits.
  4. Create the key and copy it.
2

Copy your Workspace ID

Your Workspace ID (it starts with wksp_) is shown in the Admin Console. June needs it because every workspace read is scoped to it.
3

Copy your API Platform Organization ID

Your Organization ID (it starts with org-) is how June reads the cost logs behind per-person spend.
4

Add the integration in June

  1. In June, open the Integrations page.
  2. Choose ChatGPT Enterprise.
  3. Paste your Admin API key, Workspace ID, and Organization ID, then save.
5

Wait for the first sync

June backfills your history and refreshes daily. Seats, activity, limits, and spend appear under AI usage → OpenAI once the first sync completes.
